Even the low case counts in NY aren't nearly low enough. Germany currently has daily case counts roughly the same as New York City with a population roughly 10x the size. Those are the numbers that allow you to have something like normal social and economic life.

3/ possible to have semi-normal life. Social and economic life. Move away from mass unemployment. We need to quickly realize the magnitude of our failure in order to arrest and fix the problem.
