... the libs I know personally would love nothing more than to never have to think about reactionaries again. If reactionaries stopped trying to destroy everything good about the US, I would happily forget they exist at all. I just wanna live a peaceful life in a decent society.
If I were just collaborating with people of good faith on non-zero-sum agreements that improve our mutual welfare, at no point would I ever stop and think, "hm, I wonder what the xenophobes are doing today. I need to go find one and irritate him." It's such a strange mentality.
