Listen, if you want it to be successful -raising awareness, connecting people..then follow the BluePrint @BlackAFinSTEM gave you. They set the game, fr fr
1. Collectively organize many folks
2. Create Daily themes for the week.
Here's why.
Re: 1
the collective building is always ACE in book. You build better thought out plans and cultivate better considered goals
the focus is on the AMAZING number & professional diversity of Black Experts in that field
you can distribute info faster/more effectively
Re: 1 (more)
having a one or a few heavy hitters (popular individuals or those with higher follow counts) is a big boon too.
It both personal and introductory at the same time.
Re:2
the Daily theme are such a great way to focus attention on 1 thing at a time. It's a great organization method.
can easily align with existing/overlapping communities or campaigns helping to spread the word
let's many different people/audiences TAG in participate
re:2 (more)
-Decentralizing the week from being person-focused
-helps people find others to follow, especially experts, colleagues, role models, collaborators, organizations, activities
-fosters active participation & engagement with discipline & individual experts
Having an organized team and daily themes aids in keeping your week on track & from jumping the rails. There is a committee of peoples who serve as formal or informal moderators, respondents.
