But that's not my concern here, you can argue with your brain about the meaning of 'arrest'. Infact, this has been the habit of EFCC itself; Invite you and then feed the media with the information that you've been arrested, so as to submit you to the Court of public opinion...

..we all know that its normal for Corruption to fight corruption. But as conscious and common Nigerians, I'd thought that our concern would be to ensure that a Corrupt individual is not chairing the Apex antigraft agency in the country,
and in an administration that got elected based on their stance (or 'pretence') on corruption. In view of the foregoing, I will not be in a haste to be calling for Magu's head, despite proven complicit allegations against him, because I am an ardent advocate for Rule of Law.
It's my hope that he would be given the right to fair hearing in its fullest meaning. Justice Salami is said to be Chairing the Presidential Panel, this is a man of reputable integrity.
Be that as it may, I will advise Magu to honorably resign whether or not his case is proved.

His capacity to lead this administration's antigraft fight has already been compromised even prior to his appointment by the President. And when appointed, the DSS wrote a damning report against him. The DSS reports directly to the President. But President Buhari retained Magu...
..despite the indicting report by the DSS and Senate's refusal to confirm him. This alone and by itself has already compromised his capacity and raised alot of questions on the integrity of Mr. President himself.
Moreso, you can't expect the fight against corruption to succeed when the office of the Attorney General of the Federation and that of the EFCC Chairman is not in tandem with one another. This is one major reason why there has been some setbacks in the antigraft fight.
And talking about the AGF, there is enough substantive allegations against him too; The nolle- prosequi entered in a case of corruption against Orubebe in relation to alleged malfeasance while Minister of Niger Delta Ministry; his secret meeting with fugitive Maina in Dubai...
..under whatever guise/excuse; his involvement in the surreptitious reinjection of the same Maina into the Civil Service; his supervision of Obono-Oblas’ kangaroo Asset Recovery outfit which Obono subsequently ran out of the country when exposed by some ICPC investigation;
..his non-due attention, by design or default, to the P&ID matter since 2015 until it was blown open by humongous financial damage to the country; etc.
But one thing is certain, If Magu is actually complicit, it means that President Buhari has been shielding him against national interest.
