Anybody who rejects the Knowledge of the Unseen of the Prophet ﷺ has rejected the Qur'ān.
Allāh says:
That is from the news of the unseen which We reveal, [O Muḥammadﷺ], to you. And you were not with them when they put together their plan while they conspired.
[12:102]

There are many āyāt.
Picking and choosing Qur'ān āyāt to support your unorthodox views is nothing new.

However they reject/failed to acknowledge this ayah
"Whereas Allāh has created you and your actions!" [37:96]

Just one example I thought I'd highlight, don't trust people when they nit-pick Qur'ān āyāt without context, we do not take the literal meaning of āyāt!
