Now is a good time to remember the 76 law enforcement agencies from 10 states, mercenaries and corrupt politicians that protected an illegal pipeline. Water Protectors were brutalized and subjected to oil sponsored police violence for 10 months. 
Weapons used: Tear gas, rubber bullets, pepper spray, water canons, sound canons, percussion grenades, beanbag guns, surveillance drones, undercover mercenaries, psychological warfare and counter terrorism tactics, avenger missile launchers were present, snipers. you get the idea
Thus security force was undercover. When he was discovered to have a weapon, he raced towards camp. He was stopped and this altercation took place. 3 Water Protectors faced federal charges for stopping him. He was released the same day.
We were under 24/7 surveillance. Helicopters flew overhead nonstop and plans flew low to the ground, with no lights, during the night. They even changed the numbers on a helicopter in an attempt to hide its identity.
On November 20th, we were brutalized for 9 hours. Sprayed with water canons in below freezing temps, we were also attacked with rubber bullets and tear gas. 300 people got hypothermia. Medics were shot in the head. A girl got her arm nearly blown off.
It was traumatic, y’all. Many of us left super messed of emotionally and mentally. Many people don’t understand exactly what Water Protectors went through to protect the water. Just talking about this is beginning to trigger. Please research and learn.
