Korotkih is an influential figure in the Azov movement, involved in international outreach, strategizing. An ex-Ministry of Internal affairs 🇺🇦 official. He was a 🇷🇺 neo-Nazi figure but reached heights in Ukraine. He received 🇺🇦 passport from then-President Poroshenko in 2014
Korotkih's interview also suggests that the Azov movement seeks to play a leading role in his apparent desired outcome ("new European way of life") for Europe, Ukraine : "The Azov, National Corps, Biletsky [Azov's leader] are the embryos/seeds (зародыши) of this new people".
Statements from the spox of the internationally active Azov movement are additionally worrying because Azov's military wing the Azov Regiment is part of Ukraine's National Guard, Azov's rise arguably has been predicated on its historic ties to the Ministry of internal affairs. 
Azov's spox remarks regarding Ukraine's collapse, future are in contrast to statements from, for example, street-active anti-Zelenskiy “Resistance to Capitulation Movement” that embraces Azov, other far right next to civil society figures, groups, including Poroshenko-linked.
In a recent interview RCM’s leader, nationalist Andriy Levus remarked that although "removal" of Zelenskiy was a goal, preservation of Ukraine's statehood was important. "Any shock can destroy the nation," Levus said - tyzhden.ua/News/244367
Azov's spox remarks may strengthen an understanding that Azov is an expansion-oriented white nationalist organization and its agenda is at odds with successive post-Maidan governments that continue to tolerate, embrace the movement including via Ukraine’s National Guard.
