21:33UT and I’ve just sighted Comet #NEOWISE (C/2020 F3) using 10x50 binoculars. Bright & fuzzy head with part of tail already visible – even in the bright twilight over Exmoor.
Comet and bright part of its tail easily visible to the naked eye now.
This is what the camera is seeing right now. 
Getting hints of the blueish ion tail now in slightly deeper exposures of #NEOWISE. Hopefully I’ll be able to stack a few of these shots to bring it out further. Imaging really quite a challenge ATM from Exmoor as the wind is gusting. Having to make a windbreak with my coat!
If you’re wondering what the naked-eye view of #NEOWISE looked like (at least when dark adapted from here on Exmoor), imagine a faint, moonlit contrail with a length of about two thumbs held at arm’s length (and on one end was a 2nd magnitude star).
