Actually, *we* should be *angry* because we don't have a functioning health system- insufficient ambulances, beds, oxygen, test kits, PPE, treatment. Poor social relief, ltd IP & price controls, inadequate state capacity, minimal transparency & procurement hijacking.

We have not even commenced a proper and comprehensive legislative reform programme, given the impact of #Covid19SA

We have doctors begging for oxygen, due to hoarding and unpreparedness.

We continue to defer to the private sector in policy making but exclude civil society.

While frontline workers insufficiently protected; most working class people forced to use public transport for low benefits.
And joblessness, coupled with a red tape grant system, heavily delayed.
And a dual health system, racialised and unequal, that cannot survive a pandemic.
