SIMPLE PLAN TO BE RID OF TRUMP:
FIRST: announce impeachment proceedings in the House.
IT ENDS 1 of 2 ways:
1- Trump resigns after being exposed in the House hearings for the mountain of evidence against him, before the vote on the Articles. No formal charges.
2- The Senate convicts and removes Trump from office due to worldwide condemnation of insidious corruption and collusion. He leaves as the ONLY president ever impeached twice, and the ONLY one ever to be REMOVED from office.

WHICH WOULD YOU CHOOSE?
To resign, of course.
The beauty of that, is it would happen very quickly, 2-3 weeks maximum.
(In a perfect world, he would resign immediately upon finding out the alleged crimes at the formal announcement of impeachment proceedings.) Days, perhaps a week.

Imagine this scenario:
Trump is being impeached again.
Testimony/evidence goes on for days against Trump.
Trump attorneys interrupt frequently with objections.
GOP members attempt to distract, debunk all documents, attack the character of committee members, any witnesses.
A picture of massive corruption becomes very clear. GOP cannot effectively dispute the facts, attack the whole process as a witch hunt, a hoax. Moves to dismiss the case. Fails.
Trump is subpoenaed to testify, refuses.
Committee members address questions to an empty chair
with Trump's name on the table in front of it and a blank TV screen with Trump's name on it.
Dems hammer away with damning questions based on the evidence in the record.
GOPs go ballistic, calling the whole impeachment a sham, demand that proceedings stop.

I am upset at the Democratic Leadership, in that they have given up on impeachment. I feel it is wrong.
1- the mere announcement of impeaching Trump again will
send shockwaves through the WH and the GOP.
2- the list of alleged crimes will be long, it will be deadly serious, and it is all indisputable. Trump knows that. The mere mention of the grand bargain @SethAbramson and others have proven will set him spinning.
3- the first impeachment would have worked, but for the stonewalling of all relevant witnesses and all documents. This time, all the proof is in the public record. ALL OF IT. There will be no need for investigations. Just hearings.
