He takes no responsibility for the tens of thousands of deaths on his own watch, in his own state.
He is a disgrace.
And those that say Trump doesn't take responsibility for his failures....where are you on this?
We have two, insanely stupid, incompetent Political parties vying for who gets to be in charge and incompetent for the next 4 years.
And I think you could make an argument that Cuomo deserves even more blame than that, but that is neither here nor there.
He has the same blood on his hands Trump does.
But then, you have to make that same excuse for Trump as you do for Cuomo.
YOU CAN'T HAVE IT BOTH WAYS.
Cuomo was an utter disaster on every single level. There is no where in which Trump failed, and Cuomo succeeded. They both were utter debacles.
It isn't a meme. POLICY MATTERED. Governors in NY and NJ chose horrible, stupid policies when it came to nursing homes, and it DEVASTATED our elderly population.
Nothing Cuomo did in regards to Nursing homes was the right call.
That is fine.
But if that is the case, you have to excuse Trump for his actions early on too. You can't have it both ways.
Cuomo literally THREATENED surrounding states and the Feds (including Rhode Island) when they considered such measures.
We now know that New Yorkers did the majority of the viral seeding through out the country.
nytimes.com/2020/05/07/us/…
How many lives could we have saved if Cuomo has considered, for a brief second, quarantine of the NYC region?
In short, they were willing to sacrifice the populations of distant states for local political benefit.
It is as simple as that.
Wuhan/Hubei was basically closed off for MONTHS.
Imagine if Trump did his own investigation of his COVID actions, and said he did perfectly.
How many of us would blindly accept that?
But the Left simply can't admit that Cuomo, Murphy, etc...did a relatively HORRID job governing. DeBlasio may have been the worst politician in the country (along with Trump).
But the Left will never hold themselves to account.
He fell off the tracks the moment that he was more concerned about his own political future than the people of the country.
But he absolutely refused. And that was not a scientific decision...it was a personal, emotional decision.
Much like keeping the subways running.
It's just nuts to praise New York's 'success' against coronavirus nypost.com/2020/07/13/its… via @nypost
