Some call me stupid or naïve to trust the @BBCNews / @BBCScotlandNews & todays reports may have proved those folks right

@BBCsarahsmith stated that England had a much higher prevalence of the infection than Scotland; we know for a fact that this is not true & the @UKStatsAuth are investigating the claim.
Plus @AngusRobertson, captioned as Progress Scotland & not "SNP Member" or "exSNP MP"

@bbclaurak said that the Scottish Government had made the wearing of facemasks in shops compulsory/mandatory for the last seven days. Again, that is simply not true - it came into effect on the 10th of July - only 3 days ago.

Come on Sarah - hopefully your handbagging off of Nicola over your on-air faux pas hasn't made you feart of her.
And Laura - we know you're leaving the BBC for @itn , but come on - "stay frosty"

So, I was trying to find out about this new SNP Rebuttal WhatsApp group, when I came across something that is indicative of the SNP's "couldn't give a flying feck" attitude. I admit that, in the grand scheme of things, it's relatively minor, but still...

So, we will have to wait until June to read the (probably) redacted report on any Legal Advice that the Scottish Government may have received regarding a second independence referendum.
1/6
The wait is due to the ICO not wishing to be accused of unduly affecting the local authority elections in May for either side of the constitutional divide, but why won't the Scottish Government release the advice in the first place
2/6
The 'official' reason is that releasing the advice may deter other legal advisors from working with the Government in future, but the ICO stated that this line didn't apply anymore, due to events related to the Salmond trial and subsequent inquiry.

Scottish schoolchildren 'fell off radar' without electronic help
Many Scottish children struggling in education before Covid "fell off the radar" in the first few months of the pandemic, a children rights charity has told politicians.

Dr Colin Morrison, a co-director at Children's parliament, says there could be a "legacy of disengagement" for some pupils who lacked electronic devices to access online learning materials - the consequences of which might be "difficult to address".
