As I’ve been saying, American ruling ideology is Woke Militarism. You don’t have to embrace both wokeness and militarism, but you can’t be too opposed to either one. Wokeness justifies the regime at home, and militarism the empire abroad.
Both wokeness and militarism rest on large mostly unaccountable bureaucracies funded by taxpayers. Challenging either is considered an assault on democracy itself. Elections are only for economic policy, social issues and foreign policy remain the same no matter who’s in office.
Glenn Greenwald, Julian Assange, Ron Paul, Pat Buchanan, Tulsi Gabbard, and Ilhan Omar don’t have a lot in common but all are strongly rejected by respectable Washington because they each challenge some powerful faction among elites.
