Even if it’s your right as an American to endanger others for the sake of your own comfort and convenience, it is your duty as a Christian to refrain from exercising that right.
Decades of pursuing political power have so seared the Culture Warrior’s conscience that he answers basic moral truth claims with endless excuses and complaints about what all the other kids are doing—whataboutabortion? whataboutantifa? whataboutBLM?
Yeah, what about it?

Since when does your calling depend on the conduct of others? And what’s all this whining about?
Consider the parable of the workers in the field and maybe focus on you for a bit:

Why do you care so much about proximity to power, and why do you always seem to be on the side of those who oppress the orphan, the widow and the immigrant?
Why are you obsessed with your own authority and others’ submission? And why do you find it so difficult to submit to so many of the authorities that God has placed over you?
Why do you have such contempt for people who know more than you do about subjects you have never studied?
I’m left to wonder: Where did all these moral relativists come from and what did they do with the people who raised me to believe in moral truth?
