Companion Jarir ibn Abdullah (Allah be pleased with him) with men from the noble tribe of Ahmas to destroy the idol. They destroyed it and burnt it to ashes and the Prophet (peace be upon him) invoked blessings of Allah upon them five times for this great action.
But the Prophet (peace be upon him) knew that one day the cult of Dhul Khalasah would be revived-
“The Hour will not be established until the buttocks of the women of Daws (a tribe) move while going round Dhul Khalasah.”

The Mushrikeen returned to the shrine. And it was destroyed once again by Imam Abdullah Ibn Saud and his men May Allah have mercy upon them.
