The vast majority in the US support:
• Medicare for all (70%)
• ↑ taxes on extreme wealth (74%)
• ↑ environmental protection (68%)
• ↑ social security (77%)
• Ending police repression (67%)

But we don’t have any of these because we only have the illusion of a democracy.
The vast majority also support:
• Money out of politics (77%)
• Ending corporate political power (73%)
• Ending wars of aggression (70%)
• Increase taxes on corporations (66%)
Democracy means those affected by decisions get to have a say in those decisions, ideally a say in proportion to the degree they are affected.

We're nowhere close to that ideal.
I was asked for sources for each of these stats. There are often multiple sources supporting each - but I'll just list one for each.
