What if your own beliefs are what holding back your business' growth?
If you're a new maker with a $1,000 MRR goal, you experiment like crazy until you find a $1,000 MRR product.
You don't want to risk losing that, so you stop experimenting and start optimizing instead.

What if the main difference with a $10,000 MRR founder is that they disregarded the $1,000 MRR opportunity and kept experimenting until they found the $10,000 MRR opportunity?
If you truly want to 10x your revenue. You need to accept that by definition you're only 10% there. Which means you're in the very early stages and HAVE to keep experimenting and making bets.
If you want to go from $1,000 to $10,000 you need to be as comfortable iterating and trying stuff as when you were making $10/mo and you had a goal of $1,000/mo.
Same for $10,000 to $100,000 MRR, etc.

This is just a thought experiment. I don't know if this is actually true. Building up experience, skills, a network, etc… all helps of course. It's not JUST about mindset. But I do
think it deserves more attention than we currently give it.
