Don’t we have the right to know who we’re actually interacting with on social media?
Wearing masks is a very simple, EFFECTIVE means of mitigating viral spread. It’s one thing that WE can do - no mandate needed, no worry about your mask being seized, no worry about in ability to obtain a mask (you can make one easily) - OURSELVES.
Don’t you find it interesting that not only is there no response from this administration to a PANDEMIC, but that the single most powerful thing we can do WITHOUT THEM is being actively undermined?
Look at any tweets from my Governor (@GoveMikeDeWine), and you’ll see it immediately crawling with disinformation agents. I’m sure he’s not the only elected official experiencing this.
We have a right to know who we’re talking to on social media. We have a right to know if “trends” that drive the news are actually trends, or someone pushing a button from thousands of miles away.
We don’t need censorship, we need this:
And while we’re at it, there should be a verification and vetting process for anyone who identifies themselves as a medical professional, and let them be easily, visually recognizable as such.
