This is Bridget Ferguson. She is 28 and a mother to five kids under 8. Her bid to relaunch her life after more than a year living in a shelter was delayed by the pandemic in March. She moved into a new home in June. But she still needs child care so she can go back to work. 
This is Tony Jones. He’s been turned down for unemployment and can’t see how he would apply for a small business loan for his barber shop. He was shut for two months earlier this year because of the lockdown and reopened May 15. But business is still very slow.
This is Stephen Rowan. He’s been the pastor of Bethany Baptist Church for two decades. He serves on the ethics committee of the @ClevelandClinic. Which is interesting. Because right now he’s mad that it got $200 million in federal help while many in his congregation can’t.
This is Miriam Scott. She’s a corrections officer at night who by day runs a tiny church that caters to people in one of Cleveland’s poorest areas and men just out of prison. She’s not sure her church will survive. It needs to. Last weekend it handed out food to 606 people.
