Flood in Assam is a very serious problem. It occurs almost every year. People of Assam are really frustrated and have dealt with a lot of devastation due to floods. I have some points which according to me should be the reason why we should declare it a national problem.
1. Floods cause devastating havoc every year. Lakhs of people becomes homeless, lakhs people die & not only people but innocent animals also suffers.
2. Assam is the doorway to the NE . If Assam always suffer from flood then the connection between NE & India will be in a danger.

3. Assam as we all know Assam is in a growing state. So basically if every year flood destroys the villages and cities, the economic growth is stopped.
