Has been a lot of focus on outbreaks in big states, like TX, GA, FL, AZ. Rightly so

But one small state is experiencing a very bad situation, has gotten very little attention

Their case numbers are up 1366% since June 15

Using 7d rolling avg,

Daily cases 37 on June 15.

Now? 542 cases. That's a 1366% increase

3.7% tests positive a month ago, now 18.2%

23 hospitalizations a month ago, now 173 (652% increase)

1 death every other day a month ago, now 2.5 deaths daily (4X increase).

Very concerning rises in rural America which has far less hospital capacity, less ability to surge

We have to help states like ID get this under control

For a while, some folks argued COVID was a disease of dense areas (i.e. cities)

Turns out, its a disease of humanity
