On August 31, 2010, Senators Frank Lautenberg and Robert Menendez, announced they would recommend to Barack Obama that Salas be nominated to the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey as a U.S. District Court judge. nj.com/news/2010/08/s…

Salas was the former president of the Hispanic Bar Association of New Jersey. She had both undergraduate and law degrees from Rutgers University.

She was a registered Democrat.
Judge Salas was the Judge responsible for the trial of Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice and her husband Giuseppe "Joe" Giudice. They were both sentenced for bank fraud on October 2, 2014.
Salas wasmarried to Mark Anderl, with whom she has a son, Daniel. Today, Salas’ husband and son were shot in their NJ home by an assailant dressed as a FedEx employee, killing her son and leaving her husband in critical condition.

The investigation is being led by the FBI.
The suspect remains at large.

Someone deliberately rammed their vehicle into Temple Israel. Smoke can be seen coming out of the building from several positions.

This DOES seem to be an ACTIVE SHOOTER situation.

Warming tents are being set up at Shenandoah Country Club, which is very close to Temple Israel.
MASSIVE law enforcement response at Temple Israel in West Bloomfield, Michigan, after a suspect deliberately rammed a vehicle into the building.

This has been confirmed as “some sort of”an active shooter incident. There’s at least one infant reportedly not breathing. Smoke was seen billowing out of the building from several areas.

The Jewish Federation of Detroit issued the statement below:

“We are aware of a security incident at Temple Israel. We are advising ALL Jewish organizations to go into lockout protocol - nobody in or out of your building. More information to follow.”

A State Department spokesperson told the Daily Caller that the 32-year-old suspect in the mass stabbing incident in Annandale, VA, Jared Llamado, was a State Department employee.

He was working with “information technology systems and software applications relevant to diplomatic functions.”

IRAN: reports indicate at least eight simultaneous explosions were reported in several cities across the country. The blasts were recorded in Ahvaz, Bandar Abbas, Khorramshahr, Abadan, Qasr-e Shirin, Parand, Dezful and Qeshm.

Some reports indicate this may have been a training exercise, but this remains unconfirmed.
