Today is Batukeshwar Dutt’s death anniversary. He was Bhagat Singh’s comrade who threw bombs in the Assembly with him.

Above picture he is shackled and locked in Andamans sentenced for life imprisonment for Tag around his neck is his ID no.2110404.

After his release from prison on the grounds of health when his family applied for amnesty.

Dutt contracted tuberculosis which eventually did a lifelong damage to his health.

He nonetheless participated in the Quit India Movement of Mahatma Gandhi and was again jailed for four years.
