Matt Hancock's lawyers have just written to us on our Clandeboye PPE JR telling us that when they said all but 40,000 gowns had now been delivered what they really meant was that all but 6,000,000 gowns had been delivered.
This is, umm, not the first time the generally highly competent @GovernmentLegal has made embarrassing u-turns on the basic facts around the PPE debacle. It speaks, I think, to the chaos and incompetence of their client.

The Russians did intend to influence the EU referendum process - and we didn't take steps to protect it (scribd.com/document/46988…).
The Committee did not try to assess whether those attempts were successful or not.
And nor, it appears, did anyone else. Don't ask; don't tell. Not a great way, frankly, to conduct generational constitutional change.

As we presently understand matters, the key factual question is whether Mr Jenrick reasonably believed that the viability of the Westferry Printworks development would be jeopardised if the scheme was liable to community infrastructure levy.
There are statements in the heavily redacted correspondence Mr Jenrick released that the answer to that question is yes (see eg below). But the heavy redaction of the correspondence makes it difficult to rely on the bits that we are allowed to see. assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/upl…

I wonder what those GC feminists pointing to individuals who regret transitioning as evidence would say about someone who pointed to individuals who regret abortion as evidence?
I imagine they'd decry it as an outrageous and exploitative attempt to manipulate public opinion and point to the data that over 95% of those who have an abortion don't regret it (ucsf.edu/news/2020/01/4…). I'd agree with them.
