Abuse happens in a planned manner, in a way that the abuser prepares the child or the family for the abuse to take place such as, fulfilling some of the needs of the family, or gaining their trust, or giving gifts, etc.

Therefore, the abuse happens much before the actual touch or sexualization in a relationship actually happens.
