@BGrueskin @realDonaldTrump So far, Trump's "tele-rallies" have been just audio recordings of Trump monologues, with no audience interaction. They're less like rallies and more like listening to somebody leave a super-long voicemail message.
But Trump Org seems to think there's profit there. That's another break with the promises Trump Org made in 2017.
Eric Trump talked about keeping "Separation between church and state," meaning between business and politics.
Now, they are saying their biz *is* politics.

Here’s a great example of how @realDonaldTrump’s campaign turns campaign donations into private revenue for POTUS.

In just 3 pages from their spending report, $222K+ went to Trump’s private business, to rent ballrooms for fundraisers. ImageImageImage
Another case: In December 2019, @realDonaldTrump’s campaign paid Trump’s business $330,000 in just one day. By holding events at Trump properties, campaign donations are transformed into private revenue for POTUS. Image
I’m going thru these b/c I’m trying to figure out how much @realDonaldTrump’s company charged his campaign *per event*.

Problem is, there were so many events — and so many campaign payments to Trump Org — that it’s sometimes hard to tell which goes with which.

The spending is odd in two ways: most of it's in round dollar amounts (unlike most payments from Trump campaign to Trump biz), and it's stairstepped. Each day has a $8,100 payment, an $8,200 payment, an $8,300 payment, and so on up to $10K.
Haven't yet gotten answers as to why.
Got an answer on the weird stair-stepping payments: source says Mar-a-Lago can’t handle credit-card transactions above $10K. So Trump Victory broke 1 large payment into 43 smaller ones.

This sounds odd, but it’s plausible. Mar-a-Lago made the Secret Service do same thing.
It's odd b/c Mar-a-Lago routinely hosts very large events -- weddings, galas and now political fundraisers-- where the bill is way more than $10K. Not sure why they handle billing like this.

I’ve spent this year trying to prove @realdonaldtrump’s company was telling the truth about an important promise.
So far, no luck.
.@erictrump said last year that — when US govt officials rent rooms — Trump Org charges them “like 50 bucks.”
At the time, we didn’t have many records, to know if that was true.
Now, we have lots of records.
But so far, none show what Eric T said they would.
We’ve now documented at least $970K in charges from @realdonaldtrump’s properties to the US taxpayer. (As illustrated in this elegantly powerful graph I drew). BUT...
