The book keeps saying that while Sun was in Menagerie, team SSSN apparently spent a semester at Haven. And the book keeps wording things like team SSSN and other students took part in the battle of Haven.

Volume 5 literally made a point that no one was on campus besides RNJR, Qrow, Ozcar, Weiss, Yang, & Leo. All the staff & students were supposed to be away at home or killed by Salems forces. And the semester hadn't started yet. In fact, the battle was the night BEFORE it started.
I can get the occasional small inconsistentcy but things are being described that never happened and contradict the plot of the main show 🤨
