These people are constantly proving my point about their wish simply to punish. Do we actually want to live in a society where people attempt to smear you for saying that the president's daughter is growing up to be "pretty"? This is veering toward genuine madness.
Perhaps this is a perfect case study of what is at stake. I said *nothing* wrong. @theferocity is attempting to use something totally innocuous––people always commented on the looks of Prince William as he grew up, for example––and genuinely make it into a problem FOR NOTHING.
You are seeing someone on the "right" side of wokeness attempt in real time to initiate a cancellation. and you're seeing how transparent the motivations are (he disagrees with the letter, my first memoir, my covid-hair) and he will contrive a problem and send it to his platform.
That is an extraordinarily terrifying society to be attempting to create. I hope some of you are paying attention to how unscrupulous the game gets played.
