1. While it can be conceded that no one ceases to become Hindu just because he has consumed beef, it also has to be noted that consumption of beef is not acceptable in Hinduism and those who do so would justifiably attract harsh criticism for consuming beef.
2. The article credits RSS for the North East not falling entirely to Abrahamism. This is just extremely factually incorrect. Bengali Hindus and Assamese Hindus are to be credited for that.
3. Charvakas are mentioned but there are only 2 or 3 Charvaks I have ever come across and all of them are on SM. And for them to find a valid place in the diversity within the Hindu fold, they have to first sufficiently distinguish themselves from western liberals.
