These will be my submissions to the July #soapchallengeclub. We are suppose to make soaps to mimic natural stones and I chose to make natural river rocks soaps.

Dateline for submission is this Sunday. Will be sending these in by evening today.

Utk mudah faham apa yg dah jadi, ini adalah off-budget & off-balance sheet hutang kerajaan yg di amik dari EPF & KWAP.

Walaupun nama dia PFI (Private Finance Initiative), tapi swasta di sini adalah EPF dan KWAP. Duit kita lah tu
1MDB pun dulu, mula2 Najib nak buat ala2 PFI lah. Gadai telaga minyak, nasib MB Mat Said jenis melawan.

Aiyooo... stop increasing the retirement age lah and start letting younger generation take over pls. Many wish to retire at the age of 50 or maybe even younger.
Mak sendiri retired b4 50 and now I make soaps and candles. 😋😋😋😋
Kena buat adjustment skit lah to life.

Downsize sikit cara hidup. Buy less, swap more. Repurpose stuffs, plant own veggies. Ni antara langkah2 yg mak buat

Hari ini weolls (MNS Pahang and Proton 4S) planted 1350 anak pokok bakau kat Pantai Taman Gelora.
Dengan kekuatan 60++ volunteers we started at 8.00am and finished at 10.30am.

The tide was coming in at that time.
Our Vice Chair, Helen Bong is the coordinator and PIC utk program penanaman nih.

Mak tukang cari duit, tukang cari benih, tukang bitau MBK, tukang kumpul orang jer.

Sampai kat site, Helen take over. She is good at bossing ppl. 🤣🤣🤣

I processed 2kgs of used cooking oil into soaps today.

Boleh buat household soaps, utk basuh pinggan dan basuh baju.

Yg dlm tupperware tu some I bg neighbours utk basuh pinggan. They love these, kata mrk tak hancurkan kulit tangan
Yg dlm kotak2 tu nanti mak sagat halus2. Campur dgn borax dan sodium carbonate, add EO sikit, jadi lah sabun basuh kain.
100 grams each of sodium carbonate dan borax per kilo of soap.

This will last our household for more than a month.

Hari ni nak nak crite ttg kombucha uolls.

Tak ada kaitan dgn PRN Sarawak atau Moo yg hilang majoriti.

Ini thread ttg minuman pro biotik yg boleh dibuat sendiri kat rumah.
Kombucha ni is the westernized and commercial name for this drink.

Kitadi nusantara ni will probably know it as air mut mut atau air cendawan mekah
Many of us think Kombucha ni org Barat yg cipta, but actually its a supplement/health drink that has been prepared by our tok nenek and moyang2 dulu

Biasa diorang buat dlm tempayan kecik. Sorok kat tempat gelap. Cedok minum bila ada org sakit kat umah gituh.

Camouflage soaps.

Blend in dgn tie dye tote bags weolls kan?

We used cinnamon, kelp powder, neem powder, tumeric and colloidal oatmeal in the soap.

Lightly scented with pine oil.
Malam tadi mak terlebih rajin skit, I made small painted flower soaps and put them in little boxes as gift box!

I totally enjoyed making these walaupun sangat2 painstaking.
They are really small, so the unmoulding and repairing/carving after that was a bit of a pain in the ass.

But the end product, mak suker. So, will be making more insyaAllah.
