The reality is @BardishKW has dutifully carried water for Trudeau on many occasions, answering questions in the House for him on a range of shitty topics, including his history with blackface, the groping allegations, Aga Khan island, SNC Lavalin and more.
And what did @BardishKW get after the election for all the water she carried for those men? A demotion. I don’t agree with her on a lot of stuff but this is bullshit. It’s also a cautionary tale for her and others like her.
So @BardishKW if you read this, they need your voice more than you need them. They will make you think you that you can’t exist without their brand but that is a lie. Stop doing their dirty work for them, it only gives them excuses to throw you under the bus. Know your power.
Times have changed in politics. Women no longer need the benediction of the man at the top, or tokenism that is tied to cleaning up messes, to affect change/wield power. We have so many platforms available. Lean into your power, @BardishKW, and don’t let them put you on the sword
