The truth is that "private schools" boomed after desegregation, powered mostly by white people choosing to remove their children from the newly pluralist classrooms and moving them to private schools that were beyond the federal government's reach.

All of this feels like madness because it is. It is an active attack on public education and government as a public good.
Until you realize that this is all according to a plan to turn the clock back and eradicate government as a public good, it doesn't make sense.
