Do you ever wonder how the leveling of ground was done in Ancient times!! 😲

During modern time theodolite is used for leveling

What if similar instrument was used in Ancient times also

A 900 years old carving of Lord Vishvakarma (Chakreshwra Temple, Nalasopara,Mumbai)

In this Ancient sculpture he has been shown holding some instruments in his hands

One face looking through some instrument

And theodolite is also used in conjunction with a marked shaft held by other person

Did our ancients had this

It is might be a representation of a team of architectures of lord Vishvakarma

In which center face is of him as mature beard man as supervisor & other two faces are of young men working under him

Even if ancient temple built on a hill top, ground is perfectly levelled

This kind of instrument is not represented only in one carving but many carvings are like this

Holding a marked shaft with one hand & similar kind of instrument in other hand

Do these carvings really represents some technology that disappeared with Invasion?
