After getting tear gassed last night in Portland, a member of the protest's new "Wall of Vets" said the gas was so strong it was leaving burns on his skin.

He said it felt worse than the tear gas he recalled from his time in the Army.

I also noticed a burning irritation on my exposed skin last night, in a way that I hadn't felt in prior days.

It seemed like last night was particularly potent because the feds sent out SO MUCH gas.
Here's video of Army vet Clint Hall standing in the protest crowd as the feds came rushing out shooting pepper balls and tear gas.

He kept standing there. I went running.

It also appears, in hindsight, that I hid behind him for a bit?
One FYI, since people seem to be questioning whether Cliff is really a military veteran:

He sent me a copy of his DD214 before we published our story.
