Here's the full Magic panel from SDCC. We'll be breaking down the video as we watch it in the thread below. ⬇️ #MTG#SDCC
FYI, "The List" that leaked is not the Reserve List. It's a slot in a new product that draws from a rotating list of 300 cards from Magic's history.
That's at the end of the video, though, so we'll get there in time.
One of the main goals of Zendikar Rising is to recapture the original Zendikar block as an "adventure plane."
It' is a land-focused set, with full-art basics and a new set of six dual lands. (No previews today, though.)
There's a brand new mechanic in the set that takes a popular theme and "Zendikar'd it up." It's a theme we've seen before but done in a new way, a mix of new and old.
There are also two returning mechanics from previous Zendikar sets.
A bunch of Zendikar legendary creatures return, and one will get a new color.
There will be three planeswalkers, all of which we know and already have had at least three cards.

Here are two final new pieces of art from Zendikar Rising. (No artist credits or associated cards.)
Zendikar Rising will be accompanied by a new product, a "Set Booster." #MTG#SDCC
This is additive to the game—draft, collector, theme boosters will remain.
Here is the official article about Set Boosters. #MTG#SDCC
TL;DR: It is a pack for players that want to open packs without draft chaff.
The art card slot is the return of the Modern Horizons art card #MTG#SDCC
The land slot will focus on lands from the set, and Zendikar Rising's will be full-art. There is a 15% chance for a foil. #MTG#SDCC
Details about the common and uncommon slots in the Set Booster #MTG#SDCC
The head turner slot could be any number of things—a card with flashy art, who knows, but will be common or uncommon. #MTG#SDCC
The wildcard slot has a small chance to upgrade this slot to a rare. #MTG#SDCC
The rare/mythic slot is self-explanatory, but the chances of an upgrade to mythic has increased from 1 in 8 to 1 in 7.4. (This change will also impact draft boosters.) #MTG#SDCC
The foil slot is, again, self-explanatory. #MTG#SDCC
The token/ad has a 25% chance to upgrade to a card from "The List." #MTG#SDCC
The List 300 cards from Magic's past, in their original frames, w/ the Planeswalker symbol a la Mystery Booster.
They won't be Standard-legal and won't be available on Arena.
Wizards estimates that Set Boosters will cost $1 more than normal Draft Boosters, will come in boxes of 30 packs, and will come in English and Japanese. #MTG#SDCC
Here's a preview of the Zendikar Rising packaging, featuring Jace and Nissa, who will be two of the three planeswalkers in the set. #MTG#SDCC
In the "Q&A" section of his presentation, MaRo takes questions from his Funko Planeswalkers.
Answer 1: There won't be any Eldrazi in Zendikar Rising. We'll see the impacts of the Eldrazi but no actual Eldrazi.
Answer 2: All the percentages for all of the Set Booster slots are in his article.
Answer 3: It's unlikely we'll have a set that takes place in the Meditation Realm. (The Bolas Funko asked the question, for the record.)
