Soti you are absolutely right. During Kargil we should have interdicted their lines of communication within Pak & Pakis would have died without us firing a shot. But fear of escalation, God knows who feeds this crap to our leaders, forced us into the only option....

....was Malik's Command failure. Then perhaps to hide this incompetence, he must have lulled the Govt into thinking that he would have the intruders evicted easily.
