STORYTIME! A couple of years ago, I went to sleep perfectly healthy, and hours later woke up in the middle of the night with a RAGING headache. My head was throbbing, and I felt so odd. I also felt some water in my ear that was probably fr the shower I had taken earlier. 1/
There was SO much water in my ear, I could hear it. So, I did the tilt your head thing, bouncing my head sideways to jerk the water out of my ear. Nothing would work. I decided to sleep on that side of my ear to let the water drip of naturally via gravity. My head was pounding 2/
It took a while for me to go to sleep. I laid there with my head pounding and I could hear the water in my ear moving, and I was banging my head on the pillow, even the nightstand to get the water out. I was desperate. I ended up going to sleep eventually 3/
I wake up in the morning IN WORSE CONDITION. I could barely get out of bed. I called off of work. I still had a headache but now I was severely fatigued and only walked from the bed to the couch. Sat there for 8 hours. Ate nothing and drank nothing, getting worse by the minute 4/
My friend picks me up from my house and at this point I'm asking them if they can hear the water in my ear. It was SO LOUD. THE WATER WAS SO LOUD. It sounded like Niagara Falls. They take me to urgent care because I was getting worse by the minute. 5/
I fall asleep in the waiting room. Finally get called back. I told the doctor everything I was experiencing. They look in the ear where I'm not hearing the water. They say nothing. They look in the ear where I was hearing the water. The doctor says "OH MY GOD" AND LEAVES LMAOO 6/
The doctor called in their nurse to look in both of my ears, then the nurse called in two medical assistants to look in my ears, then a physician's assistant looked in my ears. EVERYONE SAID "OMG" BUT NOBODY WAS TELLING ME ANYTHING!!! 7/
The doc returns and I still have this water in my ear and my health is declining. The doctors says "RAVEN, YOU HAVE A SPIDER IN YOUR EAR." MY SOUL SCREAMED. They put a bib on me, numbed my inner ear with lidocaine jelly and started picking out the spider piece by piece 8/
THE WATER IN MY EAR SOUND WAS THE SPIDER RUNNING ON MY EARDRUM. I HAD A SPIDER IN MY EAR FOR ALMOST 24 HOURS. IT BIT MY INNER EAR AND I WAS HAVING AN ALLERGIC REACTION TO THE SPIDER BITE.

IT WAS A BLUE SPIDER.

I SLEPT WITH EARPLUGS FOR MONTHS AFTER THIS HAPPENED 9/
They laid the pieces of the spider out LEG BY LEG, THE BOOTY, THE HEAD, EVERYTHING. I WAS SO UPSET LMAO!!!
BUT I immediately felt better. Took some medicine that helped my immune system stop freaking out and used eardrops. Had messed up hearing for a few weeks. But that's the end
I was subject to Spiderman jokes for a very long time after this
So many typos in this thread 🧐😂😂 I need to find my glasses
Guys I know it sounds terrible but honestly if you can get through this then many things in life down the line seem like a piece of cake.

Locked your keys in the car? Missed your flight? Don't have money? Fine. At least there isn't a spider in my ear right now.
PS I'm writing two books right now, if you enjoy my writing be sure to follow me for updates!

There won't be typos in the books lol

Also no spiders or scary stuff
