40. A fun language learning exercise is to take a book you know super well (like the Bible) and try reading it in the new language, using your knowledge to fill in the unfamiliar words. My dad & I used to do that together.

49. Ecstatic dance is a lot of fun. I used to go on Sunday mornings in Oakland. It’s free-form and there’s no wrong way to do it; I always felt welcome even though there were also some really talented dancers.
