And for the aero engineers- “The low rate of transmission during the flight may also be attributed to the design of & eqpmt in the aircraft. The air recirculation system, with the HEPA filter equipment & laminar nature of airflow, may have effectively prevented/restricted spread”
Ultimately, we know respiratory protection will be important in travel and challenging for long flights - infection control measures are vital. The air ventilation is awesome in planes, but we need to focus on masks/hand hygiene/disinfection. And accurate info.
