And we’re off. CQ first presentation now - but now a proposal from @CllrRyanMurphy to defer decision this evening due to social housing relocation of Choice Housing and clarity required around move to Academy St.

@AineGroogan says that there are a lot of questions and she seconds proposal. So we may have a deferral this evening.
Planning officer now talking about flexibility around social housing relocation, all optional sites. He quotes that Housing Executive says no policy around this

Planning officer continues about car club- developer to offer 50% subsidy for 3 years and residents accessing car clubs.

Daylight to St Anne’s Cathedral is assessed by planners as not impactful.

Cathedral Buildings on Donegall St - acceptable shadow from adjacent building in scheme.

It may of course not be so to workers in that building mind you!!

@CllrMatt now offering his concern about confusion around social and affordable housing “more questions tonight”. Where are the other locations he asks. And what is the correspondence from NIHE?

This would of course offer everyone more clarity.

Question now on “ scant economic assessment” asked by Gary McKeown. He wants to see the “working out”.

That’d be useful of course, especially at this time surely!

The developer now says that they can’t be more precise about alternative locations for Choice Housing, but can offer more about Academy St.
Developer says that GVA was in a EIA report done a long time ago but it was previously discussed.
But presumably this was therefore pre CV

@CllrRyanMurphy still not satisfied that he has been given enough access to detail about social housing and still proposes to defer decision tonight.
Proposal carried so the decision is deferred on this tonight and they’re setting a date for another meeting.

Now, there’s more discussion about social housing and getting more detail.
