@bishkebab3 The answer is unpleasant. Priority to survive by fitting in. Because females were treated, like territory, as the property of a band of males throughout all of primate history. Males captured females. So female priority is children&women first regardless of male tyrants(owners).
@bishkebab3 So instinctually and pragmatically it was better to try to control (manipulate, seduce) males and rise in the hierarchy in a band of females than to be captured by other males and rise in a different hierarchy. But the risk always existed. Males killed males but captured females.
@bishkebab3 And so females retain instinctual priorities: her children, her close women, other women,a male that they can control, the pool of males he has access to assist in her control(defense),and her status and resources gained in relation to other females and influence over them by it.
@bishkebab3 Today the state is a better 'male' so women seek to control the state and disintermediate males. Marry the state instead. Thereby extract from the males without exchange of care, affection, and sex. Economics in everything. ;)
