Wilfried Zaha has led the way in revealing how much abuse Black athletes receive online.

Warning: This thread contains strong language and disturbing content.
Zaha’s post on July 12 shocked many fans.
But the Crystal Palace forward said for him, enough is enough.
Zaha is not alone: Recently Sheffield United’s David McGoldrick revealed similar messages, as did Arsenal legend Ian Wright.
In Zaha’s case, the police found and arrested the person who sent the messages.

He is 12 years old.
But the arrest is not the end of this story—where one account was shut down, more accounts continued the abuse.
“Being on Instagram is not even fun for us anymore.”
