1/ Background : PIU is an institution that was established for the purposes of analyzing data on protests - monitoring, qualifying & quantifying the impact of these events in the aftermath. We're a critically acclaimed organization which has down extensive work across the world.
2/P.S we are a non politically affiliated organization with no political inclination or bias. We are involved in extensive work boasting of international prominence through our work in Hong Kong & Venezuela. In Zimbabwe we've set up shop & our offices are situated in Harare CBD.
3/ Prior our focus in sub Saharan Africa was on the Malawi protests then we picked up escalated social medial activity specifically on the popular micro blog application Twitter. #31July was trending after one @jngarivhume was calling for Nationwide protests on this day.
4/Internationally ZW Twitter is one of the top vibrant communities. This is probably why you attracted the attention of renowned international organizations like us. There was seismic Internet activity in the lead up to #31july which conceived the prospect of a looming revolution
5/ Without dwelling much on past transgressions. In our overall assessment which will be briefly highlighted in this commentary we have ascertained that there was no Protest in Zimbabwe on #31july. It was born & died on Twitter. It was similar to wet dreams.
6/ There are misconceptions that must be corrected & we shall address them. It is essential to note that social media is not a social base. Based on evidence In as far as we're concerned ZW Twitter is just an outspoken minority congested with keyboard warriors selling dreams.
7/ We also observed directionless elites attempting to incite the masses . This was compounded when other key Opp movements jumped onto the wave in the hope it would help achieve their agenda. Consequently they ended up ridding on a stream of wind they didn't blow.
8/ At every juncture in the lead up to the planned Protest the agenda kept changing so did the custodians. An ordinary Zimbabwean could nolonger tell the exact purpose of the planned Protest . This generally resulted in uncertainty later escalating info fear of the unknown
9/ Key take home captured a couple years back when pastor Evan's this flag movement turned into an anti govt Protest was that law enforcement responded firmly. It was a learning curve for both citizens & law enforcement more of a lesson brought forward into future Protest.
10/ Set that aside there is leadership crisis in the opp party . In as much as this can be disputed, most if not all opposition supporters have come to know their leaders to be spineless cashvists positioning their supporter in the line of fire in order for them to make a few $'s
11/This brings us to a report sitting on our desk by Artificial Insemination International which is an org ceased with interrogating Foreign Meddling specifically the role it plays thru "civic society orgs" & opp parties to forment chaos in countries targeted for Regime change.
12/ Now according to AII's Director Artificial Uprisings (A seasoned veterinarian) Dr Todd Skirmish - there is an underlying pattern in the planning of #31July synonymous with the moderus operandi employed by Western hostile force agitating for Regime Change in Venezuela.
13/ Dr Skirmish reckons why the #31july Protest was a non event is because it was not internally driven but an external machination being peddled thru know anti govt proxies in cahoots with "civil society orgs". As known the latter is responsible for financing & logistics.
14/For the purposes of this brief we rang up the Doc & he vividly put it across that it have never crossed the mind of Zimbabweans that a government that was elected thru the ballot can be illegal removed thru acts of civil disobedience & wanton delinquency... Its absurdity!
15/Zimbos know theirs is a revolutionary country & that they fought for their sovereignty. When they demand better from the govt its not to say they feel oppressed but would simply like to see improvement on their already existing independence. They want better not a revolution.
16/ Now hostile foreign forces religiously attempt to twist the narratives & ride on their grievances. Thru local proxies they juxtaposit the demands for accountability & transparency with the call for a revolution. They mischievously portray government shortcomings as oppression
17/Dr Skirmish finds this strange because protests happen everywhere in the world even in western countries. He reiterated that there is a deliberate conspiracy to systematically undermine the intelligence of Zimbos by planting obfuscations in their minds inorder to blinker them.
18/This creates a stand off btwn the state & citizens were the grievances & methodology used to air them becomes a national security threat whilst on the otherhand the firm reaction by the state is sold as oppression not law enforcement. Its a process of building public outrage.
19/However this a difficult & expensive proccess. Citizens realize there is no war just grief & are ceased with everyday life which theyd like to see improve & in protest they expect the govt to do it. Thru Civic Org conduits pple are paid to engage in all sorts of malicious acts
21 / The flaw in #31July was the primary cause of people outrage was ignored by the usual schemers. They over calculated & forgot the essentials. These events were being planned parrarel to major events happening in the world - Covid 19 . scenario based planning was poorly done.
22/ The primary cause of peoples outrage would be the hunger caused by Lockdowns. The pandemic has downed economies but people know its not governments fault. Its a deadly pandemic which created a catch 22 situation for #31July. The online proganda campaign ignored the pandemic.
23/ The prospect of dying of hunger at the start seemed more worse than dying of Covid 19. Problem is proganda is artificial & cannot outclass reality. The Western plot fell short by failing to realize Zimbos are survivors not heroes. They play the long game they're not reckless.
24/ When the west paid people to protest they indirectly shot themselves in the leg becuase they eliminated the prospect of hunger caused by Covid 19 and rearranged priorities. The surge of Covid 19 cases & death of a top official triggered reality. Goodbye proganda!
25/ Those who had been paid were already good for lockdown. Those who weren't faced the prospect of contracting the virus & encountering security forces enforcing regulations. Thru all this there was no guaranteed protection from the virus. Not a human rights lawyer or a pay off.
26/In summation the Doc made it clear Zimbabweans made the only sensible choice as they have always thru their battle with evil sanctions. They chose to shelve the Western agenda but still sustain the narrative and pocket the money then blame the flop of security presence.
27/ Save for the heavily paid proxies often public figures the likes of one prominent writer & a lawyer with a back door acsent who took to the street quite over dressed for a "revolution" which betrayed their narrative as they took part in a poorly choreographed "revolution".
28/ Strangely they avoided the "mob" & chose to do it the on the quiet street of Northern lush Surburban area. The embarrassment of the day continued with theatrics of an opp trio coming from court were they where on trial for disproportionate theatrics. It never rains in Harare.
29/As PIU with aid from AII we found these to be the main drivers behind the #31july non event. The biggest loser was the imperialists schemers. The prospect of a premature artificial revolution seems far & wide. A spin of a "shutdown" has already begun at the expense of the West
30/ Recommendations: Zimbos are desist from taking part in protests called for by shameless spineless cashvists who have no respect for civil liberties & remotest idea on how they are exercised. After that humiliating display ZW is to take at least 2yrs with no Protests ** End**
