Next time when someone tells u #QutabMinar is an example of Islamic engineering, tell him that it is just another example of Islamic mentality.

Talking about engineering, the so called artisans did not even know how to put structures that would even look original.

Right in front of #qutabminar this iron pillar with Sanskrit Inscriptions on it. A brilliant example of hindu chemical engineering of 4th century AD of corrosion free iron.
Most probably a Garuda Stambha of a temple, it had idol on top of it which is missing now.

The defaced Ganesha or stone lotus on the pillars of #QutabMinar is not what hurts the most.
What hurts when some people say, North India is more of "Cow and Gobar" Minus the Islamic architecture.

I observed, there are serious difference in type of art on the main minar.
Observe the Arabic writings are casual and not atall artistic. Plain polished. Where as the flowers are carved very minutely. And clearly the writings are later addition to the existing decorative wall.

In the picture 1 observe a disfigured god/human sculpture at the button on the pillar. Still not Hindu?
Do u see tiny bells carved on the main Minar? Bells sound is haram in Islam.
See the lotus on the walls? Lotus are not there at the place where Islam comes from

Our temples are destroyed forcefully, our science our engineering are stolen our people were butchered.
We can't change that now.
But,Is it fair to teach us fake greatness of our barbaric invaders? Is but not our right to know & feel proud of our real heritage?
