Trump keeps saying we need election results RIGHT AWAY on election night. It reflects his obsession with media/TV and his lack of understanding about election administration. This is a preposterous standard. He is intentionally setting untenable expectations for November. (1/3)
And he's trying to create drama where none exists. Just because the vote-count is slow doesn't mean it's rigged. It's wrong for him to think that all the votes are counted on Election Day anyway. It ALWAYS takes days. Provisional ballots, military/overseas, absentees, etc. (2/3)
Most of the time, nobody cares about these late batches of votes. There usually aren't enough to change the outcome.... hence, a winner can be projected. But this November, there will be more mail ballots than ever before. It will take time to count. And that's OK. (3/3)
