Abrams says US has recognized Guaidó as interim president of Venezuela since January 5, 2019. Guaidó didn’t name himself president until a few weeks later. Tell me again how this wasn’t all a US scheme?

USAID says it is supportive about the agreement between the Maduro government and Guaidó over receiving humanitarian supplies from the Pan American Health Organization. Let’s hope so.

Abrams: “Who have we not reached out to? What have we not tried?” You haven’t reached out to the Maduro government to engage in dialogue. Everything is “on the table” except dialogue. The US is so entrenched in its position that they fail to see the obvious.
