seems to be to indulge in unwanted & wasteful expenditure. @chennaicorp has taken a loan of 1285 Crores from Germany's KFW Banking group out of which 1 part of 285 crores is being spent on constructing SWD at ECR. @Arappor

Pt2: Storm Water Drains have always been a controversial subject. Implementing SWD in ECR is fraught with concerns. Residents want Underground Sewerage system, but what is being provided is SWD. @Arappor @chennaicorp

Pt3: In a place where there is no Sewrage system if you implement SWD we know what would start happening. Illegally people would start using SWD as Sewage system. There is no requirement for SWD in ECR where the sandy beach soil does not let water stagnate. @chennaicorp @Arappor

Pt4: Even during 2015 the residents say the water seeped in within 30 minutes. Does the Corp want to turn ECR into a mosquito breeding center?

So what is the inside story? @Chennacorp @Arappor

Pt5: Back in 2019, this same Tender was about to be opened but a few days prior to that @Arappor received credible information that there was Tender Setting at a massive scale in this Tender. @chennaicorp

Pt6: @Arappor wrote to the officials of the @chennaicorp to investigate if the revelations were true and to take action. So what is the result of the investigation? Would Prakash IAS or Harminder Singh IAS answer the questions raised?

Pt7: Would they heed the people's wish and cancel this tender which is nothing more than an obnoxiously wasteful corrupt expenditure to the exchequer intended to enrich a few contractors and their associated political heads? @Arappor @chennaicorp
