Very glad to participate with 2 posters in this year's online only @cvinnovations!
Both from the PROGRESS CTO registry:

#1: 1-year outcomes in patients undergoing CTO PCI according to target vessel.
Previous work pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/25442459/ had identified circumflex lesions as having ⬇️procedural outcomes.
1-year outcomes were similar in our analysis. Image
#2: 1-year outcomes in patients undergoing CTO PCI according to baseline LVEF.
Outcomes worse as LVEF⬇️, mainly driven by ⬆️ mortality, but not MI and revascularization rates.

Our retrospective study evaluating fluoroscopy and cineangiography parameters before & after x-ray system optimization. Found reduced patient cine but not fluoro doses. Operator dose not measured. #cardiotwitter @evivemmou @Bavana_Rangan @esbrilakis @MHIF_Heart

Cine adjustments: from from 10R/minute at 15 frames/second with 0.24 μGy/frame to 5R/minute at 10 frames/second with 0.14 μGy/frame plus Copper (Cu) filter 0.1/0.3mm. 2/4
Fluoro adjustments: From 10R/minute at 10 or 15 pulses/second to 5R/minute at 7.5 or 6 pulses/second plus pre Copper (Cu) filter 0.2/0.6mm. Pulse width was lowered to 5ms from 8 ms. Peak voltage (kVp) was changed from 70 to 81 kV. 3/4
