Look at those $CRWD numbers, the trends that you see. To me, it says “Hypergrowth top line showing strong signs of operational leverage.” That should perk up your ears - catch your attention.
My rather simple strategy: Follow the companies with hypergrowth revenue. Watch for any sign of strong uptick in op margins and cash flow. When you see it, ACT. Establish a position immediately. It forces you into further research.
Do not delay. Buy into the story and fill in the backstory w a deep dive as you go on from there. If you aren’t up on the company or the tech or the industry, make the position smaller.
Build your case, do the research, see if what you spotted is sustainable - Do the right trends appear in operations? Are new customers flowing in strong? Are customers spending more and more)? Any signs means buy more heavily.
Scaled leverage flowing higher from massive top line and customer growth is a sight to behold ... make sure you catch it. 🏄♀️
And lastly, if you are like me, you then post your research, after sprinkling in some background and narrative. (Which only helps bolster knowledge, and, best of all, helps give clearer sight on the company and cause some epiphanies to slowly appear.)
Okay I got sidetracked. My point is, $CRWD is my top holding for a reason. It isn’t perfect; no stock is. But this company is about as attractive as it gets, execution wise, plus are now hitting a wave of work-from-home.
