The group consists of not only men, but about 40 women. They carry with them half kg of Poha and Jaggery for their journey - only to be used for emergency. Otherwise the VHP had made arrangements for their food. 2/
Until 30th of November, there were only about 500 people in Ayodhya. But in the next 6 days the numbers had grown to lakhs.

KarSevaks started pulling down the domes one by one, with ropes and "Jai Sri Ram" .When it was clear that the structure would come down, some of them entered the structure and brought out the Murtis of Rāma Lallā and took Him to the nearby mantapa where PejawaraSri was seated. 7/
By mid-afternoon, the structure was reduced to piles of mud.

The Kar Sevaks understood the meaning and worked on clearing the debris to level the ground. And after that they built the makeshift temple. Rāma Lallā was seated there and the night puja was performed. 9/
Imagine - An ocean of about 6 lakh people assembled in one place, without any stampede, changing the face of history in a single day. This is the work of the Devas. Mortals couldn't have achieved it.
